UX Writer Job Description
- Take ownership and drive the UX content strategy across all Pepagora productsfrom onboarding to error messages, tooltips, notifications, CTAs, and everything in between.
- Work closely with Product Designers, UX Researchers, PMs, and Developers to write copy that is both usable and emotionally resonant.
- Represent Pepagoras tone of voice through all touchpoints while being responsive to various personas and product flows.
- Audit and optimize current copy for consistency, readability, and accessibility.
- Rely on data, research, and user input in making content decisions and iterating on them.
- Keep our content style guide up to date and refine it with the brand and design team.
- Monitor UX writing trends and take the best practices from top industry startups such as Notion, Stripe, and Figma.
Who You Are
You have 4-10 years of direct experience in UX writing, product content strategy, or similar positions in high-paced tech companies or startups.
- A wordsmith with attention to detail and a love for usability.
- You think about wordsabove and beyond understanding how images, interactions, and content get together to create outstanding experiences.
- Design and prototyping tool experience with Figma or Adobe XD is a bonus.
- You’re okay working in cross-functional teams and wearing multiple hats.
- Experience applying or working alongside AI tools (such as ChatGPT) for ideation, though you can tell when human-created content is necessary. Roles & responses.
