Job Summary –
Technical writers for the project are needed.
Experience needed-
Four-or eight years of technical writer experience.
Technical Skill:
- Work with minimal supervision as a contributing technical member to a multi-disciplinary team working on content supporting laboratory instrumentation and associated software.
- The candidate is expected to create strong working relationships with colleagues from the Informatics, Projects, Product Marketing, Service Division, and other global experience teams.
- Experience in dealing with Writing Style Guides imposed by the client and industry standard manuals.
- Very good editing and proofing skills.
- Able to convey very complex matters to their target audience in a useful manner.
- Preferred: Experience with firewalls and firewall rules, along with VPNs and some kind of cloud vendor.
- Understand various SDLC methodologies, such as Agile.
Must have a good hold of the following:
- Publications Manager
- XML DITA
- SDL Tridion Docs
- X-MetaL
- GitHub
Multi-tasking and prioritization skills combined with the ability to see assignments through to completion within set deadlines.
Certifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or Honors in English.
- Certification(s) in Technical Writing. (Experience Preferred).
