Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end exam-development process for Oracle Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure on Oracle MyLearn and Oracle Cloud Success Navigator platforms;
  • Contributing all aspects of high-impact certification projects through the life cycle in close coordination with product development engineering, consultants, partners, instructional designers, psychometricians, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);
  • Defining intent and scope of exams for certain target audiences and job roles;
  • Conducting Job Task Analysis (JTA), and exam blueprint design;
  • Managing item banks, blueprint development, and psychometric analysis that help keep the test reasonable to applicants in stature and integrity;
  • Holding item review workshops and trainings for subject matter experts and item writers;
  • Providing direction on Oracle style, norms, and best practices for item writing;
  • Evaluating item analysis by reviewing statistical information to enhance exams;
  • Working on several projects at the same time while ensuring the timely delivery of top-notch exam content;
  • Ensuring certification industry standards and best practices are implemented on all exam deliverables.
  • The person must keep abreast of new trends and best practices in instructional design, certification exam development, and psychometrics.
  • The person should acquire sound technical knowledge of the product line to converse with consultants, engineering teams, SMEs, and instructors.
  • Own and drive the Go-to-Market strategy and cement the success of the certification exams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in certification exam development or credentialing, preferably in a tech or cloud-based environment
  • Knowledge about certification industry standards and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, or CX) or work experience in the Oracle partner/customer ecosystem
  • Prior certification exam working experience as SME
  • Technical writing and editing experience
  • Professional certification credentials relating to the industry
  • Exposure to AI authoring/development tools
