You Are:
You are a technology-conscious and enthusiastic technical writer with a critical attention to detail and the ability to convert complex technical information into concise, readable, and user-friendly documentation. Holding a degree in electronics, science, hardware, computing, software, physics, mathematics, or engineering, you possess a combination of technical knowledge and creative writing abilities. You work best in a team setting, where you are closely involved with design engineering teams to collect raw content and process it into useful user guides, technical specifications, and application notes. You are an organized individual, capable of handling multiple projects at one time, and focused on producing high-quality documentation that is consistent with style guides and procedures. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills allow you to work effectively with multi-site teams so that all customer documentation is complete, correct, and timely.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and authoring user documentation for multiple Digital and Mixed Signal IPs.
- Planning, organizing, authoring, and editing technical specifications, engineering schematics, application notes, and user guides.
- Working with design engineering teams to gather raw content and turn it into user-usable collateral.
- Ensuring accurate conformity to style guides and documentation procedures.
- Collaboration and communication with multi-site teams to provide top-quality documentation.
- Making a significant and direct contribution towards all customer documentation that is being created and the documentation plan.

What You’ll Need:
- Degree or master’s in electronics, science, hardware, computing, software, physics, mathematics, or engineering discipline. Other technical disciplines also considered.
- 3-7 years of technical writing experience in the software or hardware sector.
- Good problem-solving skills; strong logical thinking and solution-finding attitude.
- Experience with authoring tools like FrameMaker.
- Delightful English writing and speaking skills.
